Habit is something you do so often it becomes so easy. It’s a behaviour you keep repeating.
If you want to distance yourself from the crowd and enjoy a unique lifestyle, understand this – your habits will determine your future. Remember, successful people don’t just drift to the top. It takes a lot of things to make it happen of which one is habits. The habits you develop today onwards will ultimately determine how your future works out. Rich or poor, healthy or unhealthy, fulfilled or unfulfilled. So note that your habits will determine your future.
It is also important to know that your habits will determine your quality of life. When one develops a chronic bad habit, life will eventually give you consequences, whether you like it or not. The fact is that, if you keep doing things a certain way, you will always get a predictable result. It’s your choice, so choose wisely.
For example, let’s say you want to be financially independent. Doesn’t it make sense for you to check your money making and spending habits? Are you in the habit of paying yourself first every month? Do you consistently save or invest a percentage of your income? The answer is either yes or no. You can see immediately if you are moving in the right direction or not. The key word here is, “CONSISTENT,” that means every month which is a good habit. It’s easy if you cultivate the habit of saving or investing now. In other words, commit to your better financial future every single day – HABIT.
So for a very successful future in all ramification, the power to choose the right habits lies in you. If you look onwards and see that your habits will nose dive you into the ground, I have great news for you! You can turn negative consequences into positive rewards simply by changing your habits now. It might not be easy especially if it’s a habit or habits you have been doing for years. But I tell you, it’s possible with first acknowledging that you need to change your habits. See, your normal behaviour has a lot to do with the results in your life. If you are not happy with those results, then something has to change.
By systematically improving one behaviour at a time, you can dramatically improve your overall lifestyle. Remember, nothing will change until you do. If you keep on doing what you have always done, you will keep on getting what you have always got.
